Hybrid inverters in the Dominican Republic

4 products · WECO · from US$ 2,973.60 to US$ 6,490.00, ITBIS included

WECO hybrid inverters for homes and businesses: they combine solar panels, batteries and the grid in a single unit. The XTS series (8, 10 and 12 kW) outputs 120/240 V and 60 Hz, like the Dominican grid, works with 48 V lithium batteries and accepts up to 15 kW of panels. For shops and industry with three-phase service there is the TH-S of 30 kW at 208 V, which works with high-voltage batteries. SUSEINCA is the authorized representative and technical support of WECO in Latin America.

By day it uses the sun and stores the surplus in the battery; during a power outage it switches over on its own in less than 10 milliseconds. You can start with one battery and expand later with batteries and/or panels.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a net metering system and a hybrid one?

The net metering system runs without batteries: it lowers the bill, but during a power outage it shuts down even if there is sun. The hybrid one has batteries and keeps the house running during a power outage.

Can I add panels or batteries later?

Yes. Panels can be added to the same inverter, up to its maximum, and more batteries of the same model for more hours of backup.

How much does an installed hybrid system cost?

The price of each unit is on its data sheet. The installed system depends on your loads and on the hours of backup you want; with a photo of your electricity bill we prepare a preliminary estimate.

Do you ship throughout the country?

Yes. Shipping is calculated by zone and availability is confirmed before the order is placed. You may also write to us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.
