In a nutshell

20 A PWM solar charge controller for 12 or 24 V batteries (detects the voltage automatically). It comes ready to use with its factory settings and is also fully programmable.

A PWM is the simplest solar charge controller: it connects the panel directly to the battery and regulates the charge so it does not overcharge.

What you should know

• It is suitable for small systems: at 12 V with a 36-cell panel, and at 24 V with a 72-cell panel or two 36-cell panels in series.
• It is not for large panels: for those an MPPT charge controller is used.
• Load output for lights or other loads, with manual control, programmable lighting control and low-voltage disconnection.

About this model

• Three-stage charging (bulk, absorption and float), programmable: absorption at 14.4 V / 28.8 V, float at 13.8 V / 27.6 V and equalization at 14.6 V / 29.2 V.
• It accepts up to 28 V from the panels in 12 V systems and 55 V in 24 V systems.
• The load output switches off at 11.1 V / 22.2 V to protect the battery.
• Protected against reverse polarity of the panel and the battery (with fuse), against short circuit and overload on the load output, and against excess temperature.
• It consumes only 10 mA. IP30 protection.
