In a nutshell
Inverter/charger of 12 V and 4 kVA, for split-phase installations (120V/240V) of 50 A, with 160 A charger.
It receives and passes through both lines from the grid or the generator; when there is no source, it keeps feeding both sides of the panel at 120 V from the battery.
What you should know
- With a split-phase source it passes through both lines and uses the full 50 A to charge and supply.
- With a single-phase 120 V source, or in inverter mode, it delivers 120 V on both lines.
- 240 V is only available when the source is split-phase, so heavy 240 V loads (water heater, air conditioning) do not discharge the battery.
