What you should know
- It receives and passes through both lines of the grid or the generator.
- When there is no source, it keeps feeding both sides of the panel at 120 V from the battery.
- 240 V is only available when the source is split-phase, so heavy 240 V loads (water heater, air conditioning) do not discharge the battery.
- It can be connected in parallel and in three-phase systems.
- UL 458: the North American standard for inverters installed in vehicles and boats.
About this model
- 3,000 VA continuous (2,400 W at 25 °C, 2,200 W at 40 °C) and peaks of 5,500 W.
- 24 V battery (19–33 V range).
- 70 A charger with adaptive 4-stage algorithm and temperature sensor included.
- 50 A transfer; accepts split-phase (180–280 V) or single-phase (90–140 V). In inverter mode it delivers 120 V 60 Hz on both lines.
- Max. efficiency 94 %; draws 11 W at no load (8 W in AES mode, 4 W in search mode).
- Communicates via VE.Bus and is programmed from a computer; IP22 protection.
