In a nutshell
Quattro-II 12 V, 3,000 VA inverter/charger for split-phase (120V/240V) 50 A installations.
It accepts two AC inputs (for example the grid and a generator) and connects automatically to the one that is active. If neither is available, it powers both sides of the panel at 120 V from the battery.
What you should know
- It accepts split-phase (180–280 V) or single-phase (90–140 V).
- In inverter mode it delivers 120 V 60 Hz on both lines. The 240 V is only available when the source is split-phase, so heavy 240 V loads (water heater, air conditioning) do not discharge the battery.
- It includes PowerControl (prevents overloading the grid or the generator) and PowerAssist (supplements the supply with battery power during peak demand).
- It can be connected in parallel and in three-phase systems.
