How much does a solar system for a villa in Punta Cana cost?
From US$ 10,405, ITBIS included. Packages range from about 500 to about 65,000 kWh per month; we show you the price of each package when you leave your details on this page, and each case should be studied individually.
What does a package include?
Each package includes its panels, inverters and batteries, as well as the ground-level aluminum structure, certified hardware and mounting accessories, AC/DC wiring with conduits, electrical protection and grounding, the communication and remote monitoring system, project engineering and design, transportation, professional installation, and configuration and commissioning by certified technical personnel.
Does the price include ITBIS (the Dominican VAT)?
Yes. The price includes ITBIS, assuming the ITBIS exemption on the panels and the inverter provided for in Law 57-07, an exemption authorized by the National Energy Commission (CNE) and requested before purchase. If the exemption is not authorized for reasons attributable to the client, the client must pay the applicable ITBIS in order for the invoice to be issued. Batteries are subject to ITBIS; their exemption is processed only for large projects, upon request. In Kit 4 and the industrial systems, the battery is subject to ITBIS; if you can wait for the import period, we can process its exemption.
Can the system be expanded?
Yes, all packages are expandable. Kits 1, 2 and 3 can be expanded with additional panels and batteries. In Kit 4, A-Kool 7X batteries can be added one at a time, up to 10 per inverter, and a second inverter always has the same number of batteries as the first. The same rules apply to Industrial 1, and all inverters always have the same number of batteries. In Industrial 2, the inverter supports up to 950 kWp of panels; to add more batteries, another identical inverter is added, and both always have the same number of batteries.
WeCo or Victron?
For self-consumption, we recommend WeCo batteries in both cases; the difference is in the inverters. WeCo systems can be viewed through the WeCo NOOR app. Victron systems are more premium, with greater control over the monitoring system (Victron VRM platform) and the most advanced energy management functions, making them ideal for integration with home automation.
Why should each case be studied individually?
Because every property is different. We size the system by analyzing your last 12 months of consumption and adjust the design to your roof or land and your schedule. These packages are a reference to get started.
Are you certified by the manufacturers?
Yes. Victron Energy certifies SUSEINCA as its direct factory representative for the Dominican Republic, qualified to provide support and preventive and corrective maintenance (letter dated November 11, 2021), and WeCo accredits SUSEINCA as its authorized representative and technical support provider for Latin America (letter dated October 9, 2025). Both official letters are publicly available: Victron and WeCo.
